Playtime Productions is always happy to assist with enquiries on available resources, advice for concerts, end of year productions, festivals, eisteddfods or suggestions for special performances or perhaps you are looking for us to write something original for you? Just name it and we will try to help.
If you go to the ‘about us’ section on the home page, you will see that our performance material has a great reputation for being ‘Director / Teacher Friendly’. Stage directions and diagrams, costume suggestions, recommended props and sound cues are all there to assist you. Production costs are always kept to a minimum to enable low budget performances for schools and youth groups, yet all performance works are able to be upgraded to satisfy the most affluent budget. All authors that come under the umbrella of Playtime Productions comply with our philosophy, ensuring ‘Director / Teacher Friendly’ remains an integral part of our publications.
Whilst you are visiting us, check out ‘our books’ and read the synopsis and see the cast lists. Oh, and we have the greatest musical for your end of year show. Cast of anything from 40 to 100 plus. ‘Christmas Eve in the Old Nursery’ has a superb musical score by Gavin Hawley and comes complete with all sound effects. You can click and listen to the overture and there is also a two page brochure that you can download which gives you more details, so you can show the rest of your team.
Dramatic Lines UK has an extensive list for you to peruse in ‘our books’ section, and it is only a matter of days for delivery.
If you happen to be within a reasonable distance to Brisbane, our teacher and parents workshops may be of interest to you. If you are further a field then of course you need to include travel expenses.
If you have written some original drama resources that you feel may be worthy of publication, please look under ‘publishing’.
