Synopsis

Ben and Kate have a suspicion that friendly monsters have held parties under their beds at night, so they decide to write an invitation asking them to visit that very evening. The children eventually fall asleep but at midnight the door handle slowly turns and monsters of all shapes and sizes arrive carrying gifts and parcels. Dozens of funny monsters crowd into the room through the door and from the closet. They party on all through the night, singing and dancing and having fun, they eat and open up presents but Ben and Kate sleep on. At sunrise they scurry away but not before leaving a mess of wrappers all over the bedroom floor.

When the children wake they realise that they slept through all the fun, so they write another invitation for the next night.  This time they manage to stay awake and meet the monsters but when Mum and Dad enter the room to find out what all the noise is about, the monsters hurriedly disappear into the closet but not before leaving a note promising ……to return another night.

MONSTERS GALORE – Mask and Mime, will prove to be an exciting, colourful introduction to drama for very young children. A really fun way for little people to explore and enjoy creative movement and a delightful way to become acquainted with the joys of the performing arts. Parent audiences will be delighted.
